Welcome to CLA Elementary!

I am so excited to welcome you and your child to our K-4 family at CLA. These early years are such a special time – full of curiosity, growth, and discovery – and it is truly a blessing to walk alongside your children as they learn, explore, and develop the gifts God has given them.

In our school and in this classroom, Christ is at the center of everything we do. Faith isn’t just a lesson we teach; it’s woven into our conversations, our routines, and the way we care for one another. My hope is that each child grows not only in knowledge but also in character, confidence, compassion, and understanding of God’s deep love for them.

Academically, we focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking. We also spend time nurturing creativity, curiosity, and problem‑solving skills, because learning should be joyful, hands‑on, and full of wonder. Most importantly, I want every child to feel seen, valued, and supported. Each student is uniquely gifted, and it is my privilege to help them grow while encouraging kindness, responsibility, and respect.

I also believe deeply in the partnership between school and home. Open communication and strong relationships with families make such a difference, and I am grateful to walk this journey with you. Together, we can create a caring, Christ‑centered community where your child can thrive.

I’m looking forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, and God’s many blessings.

Our Educational Philosophy

Equipped to Rise reflects our commitment to preparing students for lives of meaningful impact. We accomplish this by:

Challenging with Purpose

We believe students rise best when learning is intentional, meaningful, and appropriately challenging. Our academic program sets high expectations while promoting curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. We guide students to think critically, engage deeply with content, and embrace challenges as part of the growth process.

Personalizing the Journey

We recognize that students grow at different rates and benefit from instruction that meets their individual needs. Our smaller class sizes and relational culture allow teachers to respond to individual needs through differentiation, timely feedback, and research-based instruction. Students are known and actively supported as they grow.

Preparing for Impact

We prepare students to use what they’ve learned beyond the classroom. Our academic program emphasizes real-world application, cross-disciplinary thinking, and the development of transferable skills. We want students to graduate ready to contribute as they lead, collaborate, and solve problems in a rapidly changing world.

“We have had such a wonderful experience at CLA. Our daughter was having some difficulty with reading and required a little additional help at the start of the school year. Her teacher, Mrs. Glowicki, identified concerns early and invested a significant amount of her extra time and effort to get her up to speed. She really went above any expectation a parent could have from a teacher. Because CLA is so academically strong, we know our children are getting the best education they can, rooted in God’s Word.”
