Week one is officially in the books, and campus has never felt more alive! On August 17, our 9th–12th graders kicked things off, and on Wednesday, August 19, our K–8 C-hawks flooded through the doors to make it official – a brand new school year has begun. And this one is extra special: it’s our 50th year!
From nervous kindergarteners to confident seniors, the energy on campus this week was contagious. Faculty and staff welcomed students and families with smiles, high-fives, and a warm CLA welcome.
This year is especially exciting as we lean further into who we are: a K-12 family Centered on Christ, Supported through Relationships, and Equipped to Rise, now marking 50 years of faithfulness! Whether it was a first-day chapel, a classroom icebreaker, or a parent snapping photos at drop-off, the spirit of community was everywhere.
A few first-week highlights:
New and returning students settling into classrooms and finding their people.
Teachers and staff kicking off the year with joy and intentionality.
Families connecting at drop-off and pick-up, building the relationships that make CLA feel like home.
Here’s to a golden year full of growth, faith, and flight. Go C-Hawks!
